All of the scenarios I've imagined have extreme consequences and they will all be the biggest challenges of my life. All my hardest personal challenges as a founder are yet to come.
Motivation for Going Into Business:
Urban Deeds is not a business. It's a non-profit company that will use various technologies and gamification to facilitate people helping one another. I wanted to help more people and was limited by many factors. I want to use technology and awareness to get past those limits and give other people more chances to do the same.
In planning out this project, I’ve thought about a lot of challenges that could come up in its future. From things going wrong internally to externally, development issues to legal issues… to facing the public and letting them know that even though it’s all getting worked out, I have some bad news to share. All of the scenarios I’ve imagined have extreme consequences and they will all be the biggest challenges of my life. Bigger, more relevant, and haunting, than any challenge I’ve ever faced. Even knowing what they may be, and knowing the best way to conquer them, will not make any of it easier. All my hardest personal challenges as a founder are yet to come.
