Lemonade Story:

I have had to mortgage my house, and invest all of my retirement savings in order to get this business of the ground.

Entrepreneurial Adventures:

Mentors, Role Models, Inspirations:

I would love guidance from someone like founder of the Skinny Girl brand, the CEO of Brianna's Salad Dressings, as well as the CEO of Subway.

Point of Pride:

Every one of our products has either won or been nominated a finalist in the Canadian Grand Prix of New Product Awards

Motivation for Going Into Business:

Creating something new and unique.

How Life Would Change with Great Success:

My day to day life would not change much, but I would like to be be debt free, and with enough money for my children's education and retirement, and perhaps a beautiful country house.

We are a very niche product and most customers are reluctant to try us. The sampling and demoing of our business is the most costly and most difficult impediment to our continued growth. Once customers try us they love us, but getting them to try us for the first time is challenging and expensive.

At a time when I was questioning whether being a corporate partner at a large law firm was what I wanted to with my life, the opportunity presented itself, I took the plunge and purchased this amazing brand of Japanese Salad dressings.  From a humble start of $250k in revenue the first year, we are now at $1.5 million at the end of our fourth year and expect sales to hit $1.8 million next year.
